"Sconset Rooftops" - work in progress 8" x 8" watercolor on clayboard While working on a couple of commissions (that I will share soon), my mind was wandering to trying a different approach to painting. I've been a longtime fan of the grisaille (and experimented a while back with some sepia monotone paintings) and so I decided to experiment with a sepia value underpainting (along with some hints toward temperature) as a way to begin my next watercolor. I like what I've got so far.
Have a lovely start to your week.
